HAL is no longer available for download. It is to be replaced by HCL, the HTML
Command Layer. This is a much more powerful library providing a simplified syntax, auto-detection
of the type of application (WAA, Xb2.NET etc.), hundreds of new commands supporting every HTML 4.01
tag, client-side validation, DOM-based searches, multiple document insertion points and much more.
HAL is a wrapper for the HRF classes, providing a powerful,
simple and easy to use command interface, allowing you to code
HTML documents with ease.
You have full control over every aspect of
the document, and can even write in-line JScript, VBScript,
PerlScript etc.
HAL-written code works in WAA, Xb2.NET and 'ordinary'
Xbase++ applications, and ports from one to another with ease. So
if you've written your code for WAA but later decide to use Xb2.NET,
then your code will transfer in seconds.
Requires:
HRF (HTML Reflection Framework) from Alaska
